Aspherical Design gives A More Natural View Of The World to Your Eyes.
Aspheric plus lenses made with much flatter curves, so there is less curve of the lens from the frame.
This gives the eyewear a slimmer, more flattering profile. In addition it will not deformed the vision behind the lens.
In the past, the lenses are spherical design, which would cause aberration and distortion increased. Resulting in obvious image blurring, distorted horizon, narrow field of vision and other adverse situations.
Therefore, nowadays all lenses are aspheric design to reduce the aberration of the optical correction lenses, make the lenses more flat and reduce the magnifying power of the lenses. Using this design to get clearer, thinner, lighter and higher quality lenses.
The substrate of the lens is made of CR-39, which is the first generation of ultra-light, impact-resistant resin lens. As for optical lens, the parameters of CR-39 material properties are very suitable: 1.56 index (similar to ordinary glass lenses), density is 1.30 (almost half of the glass density), Abbe number is 40 (only a small number of dispersion), impact-resistance and high transmittance. The lens can be tinted and coated. It’s very suitable for aspheric lenses production.
The main downside of this material is the wear-resistance is inferior to glass. However, the multi-coating technology makes up for this disadvantage.

Adherence boost layer: Many lenses will peel off after using a certain period of time. Just like the name of this layer, the purpose of this layer is to ensure that can be better adhered to the substrate, to make the layer not easy to fall off and add a longer service life for the lenses. Perhaps you will find that the surface of the glasses are still very smooth and no peeling off after wearing them for few years. That’s right. Adherence boost layer is taking the credit for that.
Hard coating layer: Resin lenses have low hardness and easy to scratch on the surface. In order to improve the wear-resistance of the lenses, it is necessary to add a layer on the surface to strength the anti-scratch ability. So that the surface won’t be scratched when you wipe them. And that’s just the beginning. In addition to this layer, we add another extra hard coating layer. After the first layer of hardening, the lenses haven’t achieved the best effect. So we add another hard coating layer on top of the first layer to make the lenses more tough, high adhesion and high light transmission, which can effectively improve the wear-resistance, make the surface not easy to peel off and stop the lenses turning yellow. This will greatly improve the service life of the lenses.
Multi Anti-Reflection（AR）Layer: Anti-reflection (AR) coatings are applied to optical surfaces to increase the throughput of a system and reduce hazards caused by reflections that travel backwards through the system and create ghost images. AR coatings are especially important for systems containing multiple transmitting optical elements. Many low-light systems incorporate AR coated optics to allow for efficient use of light. The ability of AR coating to virtually eliminate reflections from the front and back surfaces of your eyeglass lenses. With reflections gone, more light passes through your lenses to optimize visual acuity with fewer distractions (especially at night), and the lenses look nearly invisible. At Vlook Optical, all the lenses have 4 layers of AR coatings.
Super Hydrophobic Coating: This layer will assist in resisting water. This wonderful type of coating works by making a surface of your glass’s lens to repel the water molecules remaining on them, which means that the hydrophobic coating weakens the surface bonding among the water drop and surface of the lens. This lets the water drops to stay away from lens surface.Hydrophobic coating lenses are also anti-static that keeps dust and dirt particles away from it. When such particles come into contact with these lenses, they are likely to simply fall off. Hydrophobic coatings also require less cleaning than the normal ones as it significantly repels stains and grease from our fingers. This way, cleaning the lenses is much faster as well as stress-free. It is significant that you regularly clean the lenses with water to be more effective and keep the chemicals away, as it might destroy the hydrophobic layer applied on your lenses.
Anti-static (EMI) coating layer: This layer is using indium tin oxide (ITO) material to coat on the surface of the lenses, which has good conductivity and transparency. ITO coating can effectively eliminate the accumulated static electricity on the lens surface and reduce the dust adsorption.
UV protection coating layer: Using UV-1 ultraviolet absorbent, it has the function of absorbing ultraviolet rays and has good compatibility with resin. It can effectively absorb 240-330nm ultraviolet rays and absorb all most all of them in 300-330nm band.
